Multiple ways to influence things
Put simply, the role of our Finance team is to build on our
individual departments' contribution to the business, while
reducing operational costs. But while the task of Finance can be
summed up succinctly, there's a great deal involved.
As well as processing transactions and maintaining accounting
records for efficient month-end reporting, the Finance team are
responsible for ensuring effective controls are in place, in terms
of financial management and operations.
The commercial insights they provide also have an instrumental
role to play in developing strategies and plans that address the
complex and challenging issues we face in an ever-changing business
environment.
