We all want to be in a winning team. Work in a winning culture. It's the job of Human Resources (HR) to make this happen.

What HR does touches every single employee at Heinz. The function works with the business to identify, develop and retain the very best people. We focus on creating an environment and culture where we can all deliver results in 'the right way' and according to Heinz's values. But this can only be done by ensuring the appropriate pay, benefits, recognition systems, and learning and development are in place.

Each one of our Functional Vice Presidents is supported by an HR Business Partner and HR Managers. Their task is to translate business strategies into a people strategy, and then into action plans. Supporting the HR Business Partners are our HR Centres of Expertise, where HR Functional Experts provide detailed expertise on areas such as pay, benefits, career development, HR systems and processes, training and employee surveys.

Alongside the HR management team are our administration teams and, at some sites, payroll teams. These people make up the real engine room of the function, ensuring day-to-day matters are handled quickly and effectively.
